Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Lifted nose with white pepper and spice top note, followed by cherry and stewed fruit. The palate is quite dry with cherry and stewed fruit flavours over a layer of spice. Fine, quite dry tannins which run through the aftertaste.
