Deep purple colour with mauve hue. Restrained aromas of dark cherry, liquorice and black olives. Medium bodied palate, but quite lean and dry, lacking any sort of mouthfeel. Flavours of cedar, cherry and mulberry. Very dryish tannins giving the wine a lean austere mouthfeel. Short aftertaste. Lacks depth. Light cherry, tobacco, tea leaf aftertaste. Dry finish.
