2007 Douglas Laing & Co. Old Particular Single Cask Craigellachie 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A Speysider respected for producing robust, spicy and slightly oily textured malts. Fast distillation and minimal copper contact keep a higher than normal sulphur level in the new make that dissipates after ageing, leaving its presence on the nose. Douglas Laing's is charged from a refill hogshead. They describe it as "Nutty, thick and full-bodied with tangerine and butterscotch in abundance, moving to red apples, gentle spice and perfectly toasted oak."
