2007 Domaine des Escaravailles Les Sabliers Cotes du Rhone

Tasting Notes: 70% Grenache 20% Syrah 10% Carignan. Very deep crimson mauve colour with deep mauve hue. Perfumed nose, with raspberry and spice top note, followed by leather and truffle over inky plum. Mouthfilling palate with flavours of truffle, spice, earth and plum followed by raspberry and liquorice. Very spicy black pepper back palate. Fine grained, slightly dry but balanced tannins. Very long inky spice and plum aftertaste.
