2007 Domaine des Escaravailles Le Ventabren Cairanne

Made from a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan. Opaque black crimson colour with deep purple mauve hue. Superb nose of violets, raspberry, fresh liquorice and spice with an inky plum end note. Mouthfilling palate flavours of liquorice raspberry, black pepper and spice. Excellent weight and mouthfeel. Velvet tannins. Aftertaste of raspberry, black pepper and spice. Very limited stocks.
