Bright crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Top note of spice, followed by cassis blackcurrant and just a hint of anise. The palate structure is tightly knit. There is a touch of tea leaf evident, followed by flavours of cedar, cassis and spice. Very fine chalky tannins, dry back palate flavours of cedar, cassis and spice. A refined, restrained Cabernet.
