2007 Dalrymple Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir

This is Dalrymple Estate’s premium offering produced from a top parcel of fruit that stood out above everything else. Matured for 6 months in French oak barriques - 91% new oak & 9% one year old oak - and sealed under Vinlock glass stopper.

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry, confectionary, anise and violets with some toasted oak background notes. Good weight and texture with flavours of dark cherry, toasted oak, anise, confectionary and spice with some game undertones. Fine grained velvet like tannin structure. Good but not exceptional powerwave. Aftertaste of cherry, toasted oak and game. Sealed under Vinlock glass stoppe.r
