Displaying an opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue the wine was matured for 22 months in a combination of new and aged French and American oak barriques. Perfumed top notes of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by confectionary and spice. Full bodied with generous concentrated flavours of liquorice, blackberry, spice and dark plum with some blackpepper on the back palate. Very fine grained well integrated tannin structure with long aftertaste of blackpepper, liquorice and spice.
