Aged 14 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose displays perfumed notes of violets and dark cherries, followed by some cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate exhibits flavours of dark cherry, a touch of anise, spice and cedar. Spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of spicy dark cherry and cedar.
