Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of cedar, followed by cigar box, violets, blackcurrant, spice and anise delivering a perfumed lift. The palate is dry with very dry chalky tannins which overwhelm the fruit. Flavours of spice, stewed fruit, anise and confectionary emerge over spicy tobacco. Dry chalky tannins persist.
