Produced from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir this sparkling was blended from 35 base wines and aged on yeast lees for more than 30 months.Opening with a good white creamy mousse showing good hold, the wine displays a pale straw base colour. Very fine bead showing excellent persistence. The nose displays lifted grapefruit notes followed by some yeast lees and toast aromas. On the palate yeast lees and citrus flavours are to the fore followed by some biscuit and light toast notes. Clean crisp acidity with a dry finish. Aftertaste of citrus, biscuit and toast.
