2007 Cassegrain Stone Circle Shiraz

Medium body, crimson mauve colour with mauve purple hue. Lifted nose of spice, blackberry and plum. The palate is quite light with flavours of plum and stewed fruit. Dryish chalky tannins. Aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit with fine dry tannins persisting.

First Tasted 8th December, 2008;
Bright crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. Medium body. Top note of cherry, followed by spice with a hint of liquorice and new leather. Flavours of spice, plum and stewed fruit. Soft tannin structure, showing good varietal character. Soft acid finish. Stewed fruit aftertaste.
