This wine has been aged in American oak for 18 months of which 30% were new. Opaque deep crimson red colour with deep crimson red hue. Aromas of confectionary, plum and liquorice with just a hint of spearmint emerging as an end note. The palate displays good weight with flavours of liquorice allsorts, blackberry, spice and mocha. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, spice and blackpepper.
