2007 Bowen Estate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

The colour and hue is disappointing, however, the flavour profile is impressive. Medium body. Crimson, brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of cedar, followed by cigar box and truffle with end notes of blackcurrant, spice, liquorice and mint. The palate displays classic Cabernet flavour profile, with layers of blackcurrant and liquorice with a hint of mint and cedar. Fine grained tannins. Excellent balance with impressive length and depth of flavour. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and cedar with a hint of earth.
