Medium body. Deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve purple hue. Lifted nose, showing good varietal character. Aroma of cassis and blackcurrant with a violet end note. The palate delivers flavours of chocolate and spice, followed by a hint of mocha and liquorice. Fine chalky tannins. Long aftertaste of mocha, spice and blackcurrant.
