2007 Barossa Valley Estate Ebenezer Shiraz

The fruit for this Shiraz is sourced from up to 50 year old vines in the Northern region of the Barossa with maturation taking place in a combination of French and American barriques for 24 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose exhibits lifted scents of dark plum, liquorice and mocha followed by some vanilla and spice notes. Full bodied the palate delivers rich opulent flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate, vanillin oak, mocha and spice. Fine grained velvety tannins with medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice.
