This Grenache was produced from 70 year old bush vines and was matured for 10 Months in 2-4 year old French hogsheads.
Great value.
Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Perfumed nose with lifted top notes of ripe raspberry and liquorice allsorts. Generous palate flavours reflecting strong varietal character. Flavours of spice, raspberry, liquorice and confectionary over a peppery back palate. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, raspberry and black pepper.
