2006 Ventisquero Queulat Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose with cassis, blackcurrant and smoky oak emerging. The palate displays flavours of plum, blackcurrant and cedar, followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine grained, dryish but balanced tannins, however the wine falls short on depth of flavours. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant and cedar.
