Made from a blend of Tinta Fina, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Opaque deep dark red black colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays lifted dark cherry top notes followed by some black plum, liquorice, cedary leather like notes and spice. Medium bodied the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry, blackcurrant and dark plum followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Slightly chewy finish with dry but relatively fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, blackcurrant, earthy cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2011-2016).
