A youthful Grenache, produced from 90 year old vines. Medium body. Bright crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Fresh lifted nose of liquorice, freshly crushed raspberry, cherry and spice. On the palate flavours of ripe cherry and raspberry followed by vanilla and liquorice. Fine dry, slightly chalky tannins. Liquorice remains on the back palate. Long aftertaste of liquorice and raspberry.
