This wine is produced without the use of any oak and is made from a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Shiraz & 20% Mataro, from old (40-120 years), low yielding Barossa vineyards. Relatively light weight in appearance, but filled with plenty of flavour.

Medium body. Plum skin mauve colour with plum skin mauve hue. Perfumed nose, showing impressive lift of raspberry, cherry, violets and spice. The palate delivers lots of lively fresh varietal flavour – with ripe strawberry and raspberry to the fore, followed by blood plum and spice. Soft tannins, some aniseed characters emerging. Very spicy back palate. Aftertaste of strawberry and raspberry.
Cellar 2-3 years (2009-2010)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
