2006 The Old Faithful Sandhill Grenache

Opaque deep purple red colour with crimson hue – excellent depth for a Grenache. Aromas of ripe plum, raspberry and liquorice followed by some confectionary end notes. Excellent palate weight with flavours of liquorice allsorts, plum, pepper and spice followed by some confectionary. Fine grained dryish tannins. The wine lacks some persistence on the aftertaste with pepper, spice and ripe raspberry.
Cellar 3-4 years (2012-2013).
