Bright, very deep crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays hint of cedar, cigar box and new leather with end notes of blackcurrant and liquorice. The palate is quite dry and finely structured. Flavour of cassis and blackcurrant. Fine, dry slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and stewed fruit.
