Giaconda winemaker Rick Kinzbrunner acts as consultant to this Beechworth operation. Deep crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose presents a refined sniff of cedar, spice, mulberry and violets. The palate is also quite refined in structure with flavours of mulberry, plum, truffle, spice and cedar displaying good persistence. Fine grained, dry, firm tannin structure provides the wine with some backbone. Long aftertaste of mulberry, truffle and earth.
