Deep crimson purple colour with crimson mauve hue. Subdued aromas of macerated cherry, spice and confectionary. Medium weight, but the flavours are on the light side lacking depth and persistence. Restrained flavours of dark cherry, blackberry and spice with some blackpepper on the finish. Fine grained dryish tannins, slightly chalky. Moderate aftertaste of spice and cherry.
