Deep dark brick red mauve colour with brick red mauve hue. Aromas of stewed plums, liquorice and spice. Medium weight the palate is just beginning to show signs of drying out with flavours of stewed plum, spice and liquorice with some toast and blackpepper on the back palate. Dry finish with fine grained soft tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum, liquorice, spice and toast.
