The exotic nose of this wine promises to thrill but the promise is not delivered upon. Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson hue. Lifted nose with ripe raspberry and spice top notes followed by dark cherries, violet with a hint of tea leaf and liquorice. The palate does not match the promise of the nose, with flavours of ripe raspberry and stewed fruit dominant. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of spice, raspberry and stewed fruit.
