An impressive full bodied blend. Very deep crimson mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue. Lifted nose – quite perfumed, with spice, plum and dried apricot top notes. The palate is quite joosy showing plenty of weight and mouthfeel. Layers of spice, liquorice and plum on the palate over a black pepper back palate. Fine grained dry, but balanced tannins. Long aftertaste.
