The Quandong Farm is the show piece of the Paxton grape growing empire. It is on this vineyard that experimental trials are made which are then incorporated into the general Paxton Estates. The claim is that this wine made itself! The wine was made using indigenous yeast and was not fined or filtered.

A classic rich, ripe Shiraz.

Very deep almost opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Aroma of plum, dark chocolate, liquorice allsorts and violets. Mouthfilling palate with flavours of plum and spice over blackberry and dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance with long aftertaste of spice, violet infusions and confectionary.
Cellar 3-4 years (2011-2012)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
