Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Top note of blackcurrant followed by cedar with hints of cassis and mulberry. The wine shows good ripe varietal character. The palate is a touch drier than expected – slightly chalky. Flavours of dark chocolate, mocha and cassis over a hint of liquorice. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of mocha, cassis and spice. Well made Commercial style.
