Our first ever North Star Glen Elgin. According to a few reports, beyond the hints of sulphur, it's definitely an interestingly, dark-fruity and 'rustic' Elgin. 347 bottles were drawn from an Oloroso sherry hogshead. 53.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Syrup sponge pudding with vanilla custard. Palate: Ginger tablet with soft herbs and spices. Finish: Liquorice allsorts and black coffee.
