2006 North Star Craigellachie 14 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)
Probably about as big as a Speysider will get: This is reportedly a remnant from a previous batch of North Star Iain Croucher found in the warehouse, a single cask of sherried Craigellachie bottled earlier in 2021 as a 14-year-old from an Oloroso Hogshead that originally yielded 195 bottles. Grab it while you can. 58% alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
Notes from the bottlers... Nose – Rhubarb crumble, raisin and pears in syrup. Palate – Fudge, vanilla tablet rolled in coconut. Finish – Fruitcake with butterscotch marmalade.
