2006 Mr Riggs Watervale Riesling

This superb aromatic Riesling was made from fruit harvested at the KT and Falcon vineyards. Winemaker Ben Riggs teamed up with long time winemaking assosciate, Kerry Thompson (now a winemaker at Leasingham) to produce this intensely aromatic Riesling. Brilliant water like colour with water like hue.Superb, lifted aromatic nose of lime, orange blossom and orange rind. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel with lime flavours being dominant followed by orange rind and lemon. Crisp acid backbone. Very long lime, floral aftertaste.
