2006 Montrose Black Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Top note of vanilla followed by liquorice allsorts, spice and blackberry. Big joosy palate. Montrose were one of the early exponents of the fruit bomb style – filled with flavours of spice, vanilla, ripe plum and blackberry. Very spicy black pepper back palate. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of vanilla, spice and liquorice.
