2006 Mollydooker The Maitre D Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a flamboyant Maitre D – gregarious and one who contributes as much to the experience of dining as does the cuisine. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Lifted top note of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, spice, vanilla and chocolate. Mouthfilling palate – agile with abundant ripe flavours of blackcurrant, spice and vanilla. Very fine grained tannins – perfectly balanced. Very long aftertaste of spice, vanilla, liquorice, blackcurrant and black pepper.
