2006 Merricks Creek Pinot Noir

Bright crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Top note of cherry followed by spice, violet and raspberry showing good varietal character with rhubarb end note. The palate displays flavours of cherry, strawberry, spice and new leather over a rhubarb back palate with just a hint of game emerging. Soft tannins. Cherry, plum and spice aftertaste.
