The fruit for this wine was sourced from four of Central Otago’s sub-regions. Lowburn, Gibbston, Alexandra and Wanaka.
Deep mauve crimson colour with mauve hue. Medium body. Semi translucent. Aroma of cherry, spice and violet with a hint of truffle evident. Distinct spicy end note. The palate displays good varietal flavours of spice, cherry and plum. Moderate length which continues to evolve. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of cherry, plum and spice.
