Bright deep straw colour with pale straw hue. Top note of honey, lychee and loquat, followed by spice and a touch of tropical fruit – showing strong varietal character. Full bodied, with very spicy, lychee back palate. The back palate is on the broad side – but acceptable given the strong flavour. Soft acid finish. There is a touch of orange rind on the back palate and aftertaste.
