Produced from a blend of 70% Shiraz and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon the wine was matured for 12 months in a combination of seasoned French and American oak. Dark crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of dark plum, liquorice, confectionary and cedar with a touch of spearmint also making an appearance. Impressive weight with flavours of dark plum, black cherry, liquorice allsorts and confectionary with a very spicy back palate. Fine grained slightly dry tannins but balanced. Long spicy plum, dark cherry and cedar aftertaste.
