An austere Riesling, typical of the Steingarten style. Bright pale straw colour with water like hue and just a hint of green. Lifted nose with lime and orange blossom top note, followed by spice and a hint of tropical fruit. On the palate the fruit takes a back seat and the acidity dominates. This wine demands time for the aldehydes to develop.
