2006 Gibbston Valley Reserve Pinot Noir

Deep dark crimson red colour with mauve dark red hue showing excellent depth. A delightful sniff the nose delivers a very perfumed aromatic profile of violets, dark cherries, anise and dark plums followed by some cedar end notes. Medium bodied displaying a rich generous flavour profile of anise, black cherries and dark plums with some toast and spice on the back palate. Long power wave. Fine grained almost velvet like tannins with long aftertaste of anise, dark cherries and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
