Dalrymple Vineyards was first planted in 1987. Originally a mixed farm, the property is situated in the heart of Tasmania’s Pipers Brook region. The vines are planted on north east slopes which overlook Bass Strait. The soils are rich basaltic, being derived from a distinct volcanic crater located on the western border of the property.

An excellent example of Pinot Noir.

Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose of cherry, spice, truffle, strawberry and just a hint of game. The palate shows strong varietal character delivering good weight and mouthfeel, with an impressive power wave. Pronounced flavours of spice and strawberry are supported by a dark cherry back palate. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Very long spice and black cherry aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2011-2012)
Alc/Vol: 14.4%
