Matured for 15 months in a combination of 17% new and 83% used French oak barriques. Totally opaque black purple colour with purple black hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco, cedar and mulberry. Elegant palate flavours of blackcurrant, cedar and mulberry followed by a touch of cigar box and spice. Fine grained slightly dry tannins provide the wine with good structure. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and spice.
