Bright semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Top note of dark cherry, followed by violets, spice and strawberry, showing good varietal character. The palate has good weight with flavours of spice, dark cherry and strawberry. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of cherry, spice and anise.
