Excellent colour for a Grenache – deep crimson red with mauve hue – almost opaque. The nose is a little restrained but slowly reveals aromas of liquorice allsorts, spice and confectionery with a touch of pepper. The palate displays good weight and concentration with flavours of liquorice, raspberry, spice and blackpepper. Well balanced with fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of blackpepper, liquorice and spice. Give the wine some time to evolve further.
