2006 Clairault Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep purple brick red colour with mauve brick red hue. The nose is quite green with herbaceous green bean aromas dominating followed by some tea leaf, cedar and tobacco notes. The palate is not as green in its flavour profile as the nose would suggest with flavours of cedar, tobacco and blackcurrant followed by some tea leaf. Fine grained dry tannins with aftertaste of tobacco, tea leaf and cedar with a touch of green bean re-emerging and persisting.
