2006 Chateau Jolys Jurancon

The grape varieties used to produce this sweet white were 50% Petit Manseng and 50% Gros Manseng. Deep straw gold colour with pale gold hue. The nose displays aromas of very ripe apricot and fig followed by some honey and caramel. Rich and luscious palate with flavours of honeyed apricot and toast followed by a hint of caramel and spice. Clean finish, although a touch broad with aftertaste of honeyed apricot, fig and toast.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013)
