Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue. Lifted aromatic nose of ripe and unripe gooseberry followed by tropical fruit and passionfruit. The palate delivers very good varietal flavours but without the depth of the 2005. Crisp acid finish. Long aftertaste of gooseberry, spice with a grassy end characteristic emerging.
