Very deep crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of dark chocolate, liquorice allsorts and confectionary – quite perfumed. The palate displays flavours of dark chocolate, stewed plums, cedar and earth with a touch of mint also emerging. Medium to full bodied. Dry firm tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum, cedar and earth.
