The fruit for this wine comes from a ¾ acre house block which is planted next to the grower Ken Schlieb’s home in the Barossa Valley. The vines are thought to be over 50 years old.
Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Violet top note followed by spice, blackberry and liquorice allsorts. The palate flavours are a touch tight, with blackberry, liquorice and mocha emerging over a spicy background. Aftertaste of liquorice and spice.
